I just bought these for my knitting pattern ring binder. They seem to hold a fair volume (~30 pages?) without looking in danger of ripping, either at the pocket or the ring binder holes, and I like the colors. I haven't used them heavily, though. The plastic has a flexible, smooth, and strong feel to it.

In addition to their intended use, I find the folders quite useful when reading microfilms. I cut the folders into one layer and use the piece to lay on the microfilm reader screen. It filters the harsh light and sometimes clarifies what is written on the microfilm...makes it much easier to transcribe important information accurately.

These are so convenient to use to slip in magazine articles that I tear from magazines. Every school year my teenage son rips right through his binder pockets. But not this past year! At the end of the school year, he still had his Avery Poly Binder Pockets, still attached in his 3 ring binders, no rips, no tears, 100% intact. Now that is super durable!
