Be sure to place cover on the marker when using the marker. Each marker has a different cover; if lost or misplaced, that the end of the marker.

So far, so good.
Erases dry erase marker off dry erase boards as promised. For ink that was on the board for a very extended amount of time (even up to one year), it did need to be cleaned with a cleaning spray (water probably would work just fine too) because it was too stubborn to come off with just the eraser, but that's not unique to this eraser.
