My son uses this bag for his 17" laptop and all his books. When he left for college, he not only had his laptop in it,but also his Wii and Playstation 3.
It handled it all and he said the straps, even with that much weight, were very comfortable. Would recommend it. He has no car so he will have to walk to all his classes.

Sat next to a traveler on a long flight, he had same product, but older. Looked in good shape for the amount of travel he stated. Stows well under the airplane seat with easy access during flight.

So far, the backpack has proven to be durable and resilient. Of course time will tell. The fabric appears to be thick enough to last for some time as well as the stitching. I also thought the color choices and aesthetic design were pleasing.

I also found the pockets to be sufficient to organize all of my papers, pens, markers, and personal care products. The side pockets were sufficiently stretchy to carry some additional items.

Lastly, I am pleased with how the straps feel: comfortable and sturdy.

I use this backpack for Grad school. It will hold my 17" laptop. I've had problems finding a pack that will actually hold the size laptop that it claims and this one does it just fine. It is very comfortable to carry and has tons of storage space.

This is ne great bag, It is very comfortable on my back, I'm a big guy and I'm tall and it fits me with room to spare and It does not look like I'm carrying my little brothers bag on my back. The only 2 cons I can list about this bag is I wish it had more space for my books, I can fit 2 large textbooks and one medium and 1 small book if I'm lucky in the bag. When the bag has a book in the compartment that has the laptop pouch the book unlocks the strap thats holding the laptop pouch closed, which I find annoying. This bag is very stylish, Very durable, Very comfortable, and has room for all of my needs, Ipod, my macbook, phone etc. I would purchase this bag again and again

I use a backpack for all my daily commutes as well as long trips. It was difficult to find a bag that would fit a laptop with a 17" screen within my budget. The Wenger bag did just that. This is my carry-on bag for flights, so it gets stuffed quite a bit.

The back is very durable even through multiple screenings, but the weight becomes an issue after a couple of hours. The bag itself is heavy and with the added weight of multiple devices it becomes more so. The straps are sufficient and sturdy, but not very comfortable with a load. There are extra straps that seem to be great for hiking or cross country skiing, but they are more a nuisance when using this as a travel bag - cut them off.

The bag has plenty of pocket space but a lot of that is used up when other pockets are expanded. So, it seems to be a bit more for "looks" than for "use".
