My Scouts love to work with carayons and trying to keep them from running away is difficult. Leave the box open and lay both sides flat, and run away crayons are not a problem anymore.

I bought this product for organizing samll office supplies, such as stumps, pens, clips, small envelops etc. It works well for this purpose. In addition, staples supplied with five colors so you are actually able to sort supplies by type, purpose or size wiht the color of boxes. Another pros is stable when you pile them up. I found similar products under other brand name but I did not buy them because they were not stuck each othre at all although the QC was slightly better with that brand than staples' pencil boxes.
One negative point was the quality of product was poorly controled. I often found products on the shelf in store were with nonfunctional hook which were either brocken or not trimed off fin.

It would be better if teachers and educators could buy unlimited amounts at the sale price. It is hard for us to get back to staples to restock for our classrooms. Plus some of us don't get much assistance from schools for supplies so any extra we can get helps!

I bought this product to hold markers and crayons for my students. It does hold a lot, but it fell apart within the first week of school. The latch broke first and then the hinge - so the lid was no longer attatched to the box. After that, they were useless and I had to buy something else. They only lasted one week - a total waste of money.
