I use these envelopes daily in my business. They are sturdy enough to ship up to 25 sheets of paper and I often reuse them for organization/collection purposes later. The metal clasps, however, do not often stand up to the multiple uses.

Average value, mediocre quality [...]
By KelleysvtVerified Purchaser from VT on 8/14/2008
Pros:
Inexpensive
Cons:
Insecure Seal, Lacks Padding, Tears Easily
Best Uses:
Everyday Mailing, Mass Mailers
Describe Yourself:
Value Oriented
Primary use:
Business
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These are a good deal for the price but are not the best quality. I use them for mass mailings. I also think they would be good for 'flat' mailings ( as opposed to thick items such as books). I do not recommend them for books of any real value or if the items are thick at all as they tear easily. I frequently find myself reinforcing them with mailing tape which increases the per mailing cost slightly.

Great deal for the price; it gets the job done! Great for mailing a few sheets. Thin and lightweight. It has the traditional sticky adhesive, rather than the pull-off stip; I would've purchased the pull-off but to save money, I just tape this one shut and it works just fine.
