I have a number of books with sections that I reference frequently. These page markers work well to write a word or phrase description and stick to the page extending past the page edge like a tab. Now when I pick up the book I can turn directly to the passages I use most often.

I used the Post-its to mark the chapters and notes for an open book exam. The colors helped me to quickly find which chapter I needed and I was able to mark my notes with the same color.
They are great book marks because they do not fall out or damage the page.

I use these tabs to mark important documents in large files. They work incredibly well... I've used other types of tabs in the past (clear or plastic ones) and these are the best by far!

We use these stickies in trainings with students in K-8 classrooms. They allow students to learn note-taking skills without writing in their textbooks. They're also great for bookmarking and small reminders. Color-coding is great. They are, however, only reusable once or twice before the stickiness is gone.
