I have the Staples Easy Hand Held stapler that has the red on it and I love it. Someone in the office needed a stapler so I bought them what I thought was the same thing. They didn't like it; thought it was there problem so I switched...it wasn't there problem it is the stapler...not sure what they did but doesn't staple right, jams; so, I am looking for another hand helded stapler.
What did staples do with the red one ...I loved it

This is the third staples brand stapler I have purchased and I will no longer purchase the staples brand. After about a week, this stapler stopped stapling the staple all the way down. I LOVED how it worked when i first received it.

rather ironically, Staples doesn't seem to make very good staplers. Or at least that is the case with this particular model. As others have reported, this thing jams and jams often, so don't expect to use it with out having a handy screwdriver near by to unclog it. Very frustrating.
My advice, stay away from this one folks. Personally, I'm gonna stick with the good old trusty Swingline's.

I've only had this particular stapler for 3 weeks & just last week it started jamming. I un-jam it, get one good staple out of it, then it jams on the next. I am purchasing a new one. Considering I use the stapler many many times a day, this just isn't time efficient for me. I'm constantly unjamming it when all I really want to do is STAPLE :) Thanks!

I'm writing because I see this stapler has gotten a lot of bad reviews. I just want to report that I have had absolutely NO PROBLEMS with this stapler, and I am a busy Office Manager. I have bought more than one for my office. I love that it stands upright, so I can GRAB it quickly.
EVERYONE - be careful which Staples you put in your stapler. If you use another brand of staples than the Stapler, you WILL have problems. I found this out with a Swingline stapler, which only works with Swingline staples. Likewise, with a Staples brand stapler, you MUST use Staples brand staples =). (they should use that sentence in advertising)

We received 6 of these staplers thinking that they would be good for my company. Since then we are having problems with them. They won't staple more then two sheets of paper together. With the handheld use of it the staples get jammed easily. It's just an all around piece of junk to me. Wish I had known that before we purchased and replaced all of them.
