These are easy to see through for storage but the quality compares with the less expensive brands sold in super stores. The cost of these did not compare with the quality.

I purchased for 17 of these for storing old files and reports while into a new office. We received 4 of them broken either on the sides or at the top of container where hinge and top meet. When stacking, containers can't stand more than 10 pounds of weight without bottom box caving in a little. When closing container hinge sometimes snaps off and although easy to reconnect it’s a pain to do so.

This container can hold either hanging or expanding folders. I'm using this for multiple years of archive paper work. Will never loose the lid as it is attached to the sides of the container, but it doesn't lock tightly. Can stack one on top of the other. Seems sturdy enough for years to come.

I am in the transition to an office and needed somewhere to organize hanging file folders. This container works great for a pinch. The hanging folders sometimes get off track when being slid back and forth, but nothing that can't be easily fixed.
