Duracell has done the job for me for many years. I've tried Radio Shack, Energizer, Kodak and others. Only Kodak came close to Duracell. Every so often, I'll try another brand to compare, and still Duracell has the best batteries.

The product is well known and stands on its own name recognition. My issue is the freshness of the stock. At a competitive store I have actually seen Duracell on display with batteries so old they had ruptured in the package.
