The spacing for plugs on most multi-units are too close to include
the AC adapter bricks, too. This gives many options for use and dispersal of the actual bricks/plugs on two different axis.

I use this for my laptop and all things related to it. We keep it in a tight spot. I like the sleep design. It seems to work well, and has a good warranty. It was a bit pricier than regular surge protectors. But it's the only slim design if that is what you need.

Belkin 8 outlet surge protector
By Irene
from Nevada on 6/19/2008
Cons:
Plug design restrictive
Best Uses:
Don't know returned it
Describe Yourself:
Professional
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Returned item as plug design is restrictive and couldn't use in my application. Takes up too much space of the outlet and thus limits types of plugs (components)that can be plugged in the outlet with the surge protector.

I use this for my home office and we are able to plug in a variety of power cords - some are single cords and others are larger "blocks" but they all fit in this nicely shaped Belkin power strip. Love the design!

I bought the Belkin outlet surge protector cause I was replacing an old surge protector. I do like the fact that you can close the outlets that are not being use. The problem that I experienced was that it was hard to plug in some items and then a hard time taking them out. I do recommend the product though I do believe that there are better surge protectors out there and probably for a better price.

I really like the product but I wasn't sure how long the cord was when I bought it. The website doesn't have it as a specification or in the description. The cord is only a 4ft cord, which for my personal desk situation is just too short. If it had a 6ft cord, it would be perfect. Sliding covers are nice for unused outlets, although they are hard to slide. (Probably a good thing though)
Hope the product never has to perform!

my equipment in a power surge!
