I bought this because I didn't want to settle for one of the smaller surge protectors with the 3' cord and lacking the spaced-out outlets on the end to fit transformers better. This was a really good choice because of that. I keep it out in the living room to use for lighting and also to keep AC adapters for laptops plugged in and accessible near the couch.

I also like that the plug is at a 90° angle to the wall, so it fits a lot better on the side of the couch close to the wall.

I really like the product ... EXCEPT that I can't plug both of them into the same wall outlet with those off-set plugs! I had to keep my old power strip and plug the second surge protector into it and plug the old strip into the wall outlet.
