This was a requirement for our daughters Math class. It sure does come in handy.She had no trouble learning all of the uses. This calculator does have a lot of functions.

It is recommended and used by the public school systems and so that made it easy to use as I have used them in the school envronment before. I needed one for homework and this is just perfect.

[...] the best price for this item, I still feel its way too expensive for high school students. This was a class requirement last year for my granddaughter's nineth grade math,which is way too expensive of an item for parents to have to buy their children,being her mother is on fixed income. My granddaughter had to borrow one from the school in order for her to complete her math studies. I do think that TI should come out with one that is a little cheaper and does almost the same thing. [...] I do like the calculator, and its a very nice item, I just wish the kids were taught to use their brains instead of having to rely on machines.
