Not working for me
By Dr. Smith from Boston on 10/9/2008
Pros:
Durable
Cons:
Buttons don't press well, Labels don't stay on, Slow, Stupid keyboard
Best Uses:
Filing, Toys
Occupation::

Bottom Line:

The size and portability are good. The keyboard is an ABC one, not a qwerty one, so you have to look all over for the letter. Also, the buttons are very soft, and you need to verify after pressing each one that it actually pressed down.

We have used this in so many places. In the kitchen and office primarily. It works very well and easy to pick up and do on the spot. We also found it amazing that the blade is covered and only works when there is a tape despenser in the printer so that you do not risk getting cut on it. Great thing if there are small, curious children in the house. :D

This is the second of this product that I have purchased. The first one went missing after I'd had it a year with no problems. I will be returning this one, however, because it stopped printing less than 30 days after I bought it and into only the second roll of label tape. I'm hoping I just got a defective product and that the next one will perform more like my first one.

Purchased this inexpensive model just to label spice jars in the kitchen. It has several print sizes and a little memory storage. The features suited my needs so well that now I've thought of other uses too, like filing. Takes 4 AA Batteries, but you can buy an AC Adapter for it. User Hint: If you gently fold the printed labels length-wise, you'll have no trouble peeling them! Overall, a good bang for the buck.

I love this compact, portable, easy to use label maker. I use this for my home and home office, primarily for labeling file folders and cabinets. It has all the necessary functions to create a variety of labels for may uses, not just what I tend to use it for. It is easy to peel the backing off the labels, which has been a problem for me with other label makers I've used in the past. I bought this mainly because the price was right for the functions it offered, and I have been very pleased with its performance. I plan to use it for years to come.

Read the other hard to peel comments, but bought anyway for the price. I agree, but found a trick. Instead of trying to peel at a corner, fold the strip along its long axis, then separate the backing from the middle.

I purchased this item because I wanted something to label our daughter's bottles for daycare. It works well and is pretty easy to use, although it may take a moment to grasp the storing information. Also, the numbers are so light on the keypad, they are very hard to see. I do, however, love the easy loading of the label cartridges, no manual feeding necessary. Just pop it in and go.

Thsi is a neat little labler. I was surprised that the price was actually low enough that consumers could purchase it. It does a very nice job printing and there are extras that you can add to the label like hearts, flowers, trains etc.. It has alot of options.
The only problem I have had is trying to get the back off the sticky part, it's very frustrating.
You also have tolearn the codes to change the font, size etc.. so have the directions nearby.
