I have no complaints except the long lag time between pushing the shutter button and the camera taking the picture. Often, especially when photographing babies or animals, the subject has left the frame or turned away from the camera before the picture is actually taken. This is very frustrating, but I may have the settings wrong, so it may be my own fault.
I love my Olympus FE-230 Digital Camera

My previous camera was a Sony P32. After using the cannon I was able to tell the difference. The camera is excellent and I highly recommend it

I use the product for family memories. Some pictures come out great, some very poor. I usually stick to automatic everything because the controls are printed small and I don't have time to memorize where everything is. I took it to a concert and by the time I was able to make it take "good" pictures, the battery was dead! Great size for a camera. Expected more for [$].
This camera is good for still shots

My main problem with this camera is the slow shutter speed. If you are taking action shots don't expect to get the picture you wanted, only the after shot. I was very dissapointed about this. I expected more from Olympus.

This is a good camera for the casual user. It is slim and light, in fact that is why I purchased it. Originally I had purchased the 710 and I loved it but it got stolen and I couldn't find the same camera so I just decided to stick with an Olympus. The new Olympus camers that were completely comparable to the 710 were signifigantly more expensive. The price was right for the amount of features that come with this camera. The quality is decent and the ease of use is fine. Some buttons/ levers are oddly placed but not bad.
Great Product and easy to use.

The camera is easy to use, small and easy to carry or put in my pocket. On a recent trip to New England I needed to recharge the battery several times--there is no advance warning that it is getting low, and this is a real problem when camping without electricity! Will purchase a backup battery! I haven't had it long enough to know all the features, but so far I enjoy it.
Nice Size but Not So Nice Pictures

Low-Quality Pictures, Weak Auto Mode

A really compact camera with good battery life. The user interfaces (buttons and software logic) are very well organized. All the frequently accessed functions are readily available. The camera conveniently fits in jeans or shirt pocket. However, in the auto mode, many images are blurry and not sharp. My 4 year old Canon Elph 400 took way clearer images.
