My first card broke within 2 months. Only reported 1GB of storage even though SD card was 2GB. I used the card in my camera and over the two months I owned the first card, I used the camera 5 times only. So I questioned the durability and reliability. I wouldn't put important data on it.

When it did work, it worked just like other SD cards. Decent writing speed, not the fastest, but not the slowest either.

I use this mainly for a 4 MP digital camera (Canon A520).

It's not a good card for the ReadyBoost feature in Vista. The laptop I tried to use this card for rejects it when I try to use it this way. I also have a 2 GB Sandisk Class 2 SD card (the blue one) that works well for this purpose.

For basic file storage and still pics in inexpensive point-and-shoot cams, it's great. But if you need music, video, or higher speed (2+ MB sec.) look elsewhere.
