I bought the first one to store files on that were of a "personal" nature so that other users of the desk top I was sharing, wouldn't be to access. I recently purchased another one that I use just strictly for backing up my laptop system every other day automaticlly. Just to see if it would reload my system after a crash, I crashed the system and the reload was purfect! I plan to buy a few more as the need arises.
Like I said, this is a MUST HAVE product.

This is my favorite jump drive to date. My only criticism of it is that one has to hold the slide button in place when inserting it since it sometimes slips a bit and begins to retract when inserting it into the computer. This is a minor problem and does not happen all of the time.

I used to have a 1GIG San Disk that I kept some personal files on, such as my resume, but someone showed me this thing and it's AWESOME. Stores file like its suppose to but really annoying that i have to "eject" it safely from every computer i plug it into. These are great to transfer pictures and data to my sons computers since one lives out of town and we just carry it back and forth. I have the 1 GB as well as this 2GB one and I have had little trouble learning how to use them which makes it great for 'an old dog'.
