Already own a MyFi from Delphi and have been using it for three years. Wanted to have a backup just in case anything happens to it. Commercial free radio is amazing. Once you have expierenced it you will never go back.

Unfortunately the cigarette lighter in my car is very close to the gear stick so I'm hitting my knuckles on the radio power plug as I shift.

This is the preferred version of the roadyXT to purchase! This green-packaged model SA10175 doesn't have the crippled FM transmitter of the newer XT version sold in the red-packaged container. The newer red-packaged version had its FM transmitter crippled after complaints to the FCC from nearby drivers receiving signal from XT-equipped cars. The FM signal of the red-packaged version is so weak your car radio won't pick it up, requiring you to use a hard-wired connection to your car radio's auxiliary input jack -- if it even has such a jack. The green-packaged version allows wireless reception from the XT to your car radio. I tried 2 of the red-packaged versions and they both didn't work. I have 3 green-packaged versions that all work fine. This problem is discussed on oOwner forums on the Web.

This product is very attractive and lightweight. The installation was relatively easy and I enjoy the selections, portability, and ease of use.
I think anyone who purchases this item will love it no matter what your age group is. I highly recommend it.

I have owned this for 2 years. We have 3 different types of XM units in various vehicles and the Roady is best BY FAR. The other 2 seem to get static when passing another car who also has XM. My husband has a cheaper model and when driving close to me he has to listen to what I am listening to because my Roady has so much more power than his. My only complaint is the remote. It does not work when it gets cool from the a/c. I have to put it in my pocket for a few minutes before I can use it. I didn't think I would use the remote, but when searching for just the right song, it is easier to use than keeping my arm extended for a period of time. A note about XM though... I am finding that more and more stations are playing commercials and they are getting longer and longer by the month. Still a FAR cry from local stations as we don't have to listen to local weather and accident reports combined with news on XM. It is annoying though that we have invested in a company to have commercial free radio and I find myself flipping stations every hour or so to avoid them. Granted, they are short commercials, but 3 20 second commercials in a row is for the free stations, not pay stations! There are so many stations though that not 2 of my favorites are ever playing commercials at the same time. If one preset has a commercial I just hit another and there is another great song waiting for me there.

Can't go without it. I spend 26 weeks a year in the car traveling in at least 6 States. This keeps me sane and in touch. I don't have to hunt for my favorite music or talk, it is always there.

WITH THE "HOME KIT", IT CAN BE USED IN MY CAR THEN UNPLUGGED AND ATTACHED TO MY "BOSE" STEREO SYSTEM.
I ENJOY CHANNEL 78 ( ESCAPE ) IN MY DENTAL OFFICE.
PATIENTS LOVE IT. CHANNEL 164 IS GREAT( OLD RADIO)
AND 110 (CLASSICAL) IS SUPERB.
