Nice enough product.

Basically use this when out walking the dog. Being a non-techie, found the instructions easy to understand, downloaded easily. Plenty of storage. Didn't get frustrated, this from someone who hates power outages because I have to get out manual to reset everything, guess that lets you know I'm really LOW tech but could handle this.
It was easy to add songs from my computer. The armband holder works great for walking or jogging, and I like to listen to this rather than the airplanes music while traveling. Easy to use, lots of flexibility on playback options.

The Sandisk Sansa M240 is a great alternative to the more expensive iPod and other similar units. It works out great when you have 'dead time', like airline travel. You can listen to your favorite tunes that you upload from your computer. Programming the music could be a little easier. You may have to hunt a little bit for your music. They often are not in the same order you put them, but it's not a major problem. It's a good value for what you are getting in return. One AAA battery last a lone time and it holds a lot of music.

I bought this mp3 player to listen to audiobooks. If you just want to listen to music this works fine. If you are listening to audiobooks it is very inconvenient. If you hit the pause button, after 30 seconds or less the whole thing shuts off so you have to rewind or fastforward to get back to the part of the story you were listening to (even if you move the button to hold). The controls are somewhat sensitive so if you try to rewind, you have to make sure you hold down the rewind button steadily or it will skip back to the beginning of the file. My issues with the controls and the shutoff don't apply to listening to music and the arm strap has velcro so it's great for moving around outdoors. I may start looking for other options soon for audiobooks. I am not interested enough to test the actual battery time but I would recommend rechargeable batteries for this. I've gone through three batteries in the few weeks I've been using this.
