When ever I am having trouble dealing with stress, I just turn my MP3 player on and I am in a different world. Those that see me go from anxious to happy and giddy look as if there is some sort of magic in the music I am listening too. I have all of the gospel and reggae music that I love stored on it and I can listen to it for hours. It is definately a change from the CD player that would pause in the middle of a song or skip. I can say that my Sansa MP3 player is one item I can not leave home without.

Purchased this E250 6 mo. ago, use hours daily and VERY satisfied. Yes, it seizes up but that's due to synchronizing problems when I use OverDrive Media Console to listen to audio books from library. The tech support (even though outsourced to India) has helped me resove the problem quickly by reformatting device. It happens so seldom though that I forget how to do it from time to time... need to write down instructions! Disagree with other reviewer: it is possible to delete pre-loaded material... I removed all pics and songs when reformatted. If you don't know how, call tech support, they'll walk you through. One only design flaw for me: the Record button is on the side of the unit and I press it by mistake too often; that loses my place in the audio book and I have to scan until I find where the book left off. This is a GREAT price,[...] Am recommending this deal to friends now.

It is a good overall mp3 player, but sometimes freezes. There are preloaded songs/channels that you have to delete [...] if you do not want them, otherwise it works great.

I dont have this exact model, i have the 6GB model. This is a great value for the amount of storage, but it has many flaws. It freezes up alot and there are about 25 preloaded songs on the player that can not be erased. I found that frustrating because I thought mine was broken or that it had been used and returned. but i read some online reviews and found that they are all like that. the preloaded songs dont take up any of the memory space, but they are just annoying because when you have it on shuffle, you constantly have to skip past those songs. So word to the wise, dont get this if you dont wanna shuffle past random songs by artists youve never heard of. I would recommend this to people who dont mind the extra songs.
