I primarily use these to make copies of DVD slide shows that people ask me to put together of their photos. I've not had one bad disk yet. Very reliable, though I would recomend buying some jewel cases or DVD cases to prevent damage to the finished product.

They were an excellent deal as well on sale at Staples, I save $25 off their regular price from the newspaper flyer in Sunday's edition.

I use the DVDs mostly for movies with .avi format. Sony DVD+R 16X is one of the best DVDs. I always able to burn with a speed as advertised -16X with no fails or burn errors. Using other 16X DVDs, like NEXXTECH bought in Circuit City, I was never able to burn it with a speed higher than 4X.

DVD's are DVD's pretty much. When blank CDR's came out, there weren't that many variations on disc quality; you pretty much had to get whatever was available, or cheapest. I've been using these Sony DVD+R's for awhile now and I can say that I've never had any issue with these. Most notably, the Imation and Memorex DVDR's will fail at one point or another. With these Sony brand ones, I've never had a misburn or "unreadable" burn of data; not once. Fortunately, these DVDR's are almost always on sale at one point or another. 100 of these for [$]isn't bad. Overall, if you need ot burn something reliably, go with these. Even if you do pay retail for them, they'll be well worth it.

Got these on a very good sale @ Staples - usually I buy Fuji but for the price I decided to give the Sony discs a shot. I've used about 10 so far and have had no errors. My only complaint is the design of the face of the disc, I use my blank dvd's for movies & it would be nice to have a line to put the title on but this is a superficial complaint, performance-wise they are great.

I burn my own DVD"s and these work just great. I always buy Sony by the 100's. I must admit I wait until they go on sale then I buy 2 packs.

Every so often I come across a disc that won't burn, no matter what I try to put on it. Maybe one per bundle, sometimes as many as 10, although that has only happened once. I find the product very reliable, and most adequate for what I need them for.
