Size of display dwarfs my 15" Mac Book Pro.. plugged it into the Mac with DVI cable (purchased separately from Staples for an expensive $75) and I didn't have to do any further setup. Very easy setup. Yay!Disappointed that to adjust the tilt angle, you need a wrench. Can't beat the price at [$].
I highly recommend these screens. There were no dead pixels. The screens contrast ratio is highly under rated. The stands are nice and sturdy as are the frames around the screens. The constrcution is solid. I use these screens for web development and work. I am a soldier and I put these screens through the wringers.

Bought the monitor for my kids PC. A great buy on sale. Worked without any fiddling right out of the box. No dead pixels, great picture.

I bought this for my office monitor about 6 months ago. I had to send it back within the first month for repairs (the monitor just went black). It took about 3 weeks for the repairs and the monitor to be returned. Now again I come in to work on Monday morning and the monitor is once again black. I will not get another off brand ever again.
Excellent picture, no dead/stuck pixels. I'm currently using the VGA input, because I have a low-grade video card that doesn't work well at high resolutions with DVI output. But the DVI input seems to work very well at least at lower resolutions.
The speakers are inaudible unless volume is set to the max, then they are still very weak. I would certainly never try to listen to music on them. This is a minor defect since I will have a powered speaker setup soon. If you don't care about the speakers, I'd say this is a 5-star monitor.
I've bought 3 of these monitors for my business and I couldn't be happier. Great price, 3 year warranty, quality product. No problems to date with the oldest monitor being about 6 months old.

I needed a bigger screen, and man this was the best decision I have made. This LCD wasn't pricey, its HUGE, great for studying, reading, playing games, and watching movies. web design, shell I add more. This thing is awesome, they always say the bigger the better. :)

[...]It's a huge screen, just wonderful looking when connected with DVI. When connected with VGA at native 1680 x 1050 resolution, the display is fuzzy. No amount of auto-adjusting would make it better. Every other LCD monitor I've used has done a better job with VGA connections, so if you don't have DVI (and a DVI cable, which is not included), you may want to try something else.

I had waited for several months for this monitor, which according to the reviews made it outstanding. After all, V7? It consistently sold out at Staples, but I'd never heard of the product line. I was not disappointed, for the wait or in the reviews. For the price, it was all, and more! Picture perfect, right out of the carton!
Interestingly, I previously had an Acer 19". The previously read reviews had stated Acer's monitor displays were generally "washed-out", which it certainly was, at least relative to me. Some people may prefer the warmer, mellower tonality. I didn't particularly. The V7, on the other hand, is sharp, easy on the eyes from 48" distance (no rubbernecking necessary, either), true-toned, and appears to be a perfect househould computer monitor, and I dare say a small television screen.
After such an extended period of less-than satisfying displays, this actually took some time getting used to. The decision to buy sight unseen was difficult, but it turned out to be a sound decision. Thank you previous reviewers!

Replaced a dead HP 19" LCD and what a difference the extra inches make. For the money [...] I don't think it could be beat.

[...] I think buying the monitor stll a good deal.

The only weaknesses that I found in it were that the height was unadjustable and the speakers needed to be amplified. Other than that it has worked great for office apps, gaming, watching movies, etc. I like it because of the "bang for the buck."

Excellent display [...]. Image quality is great, and the upgrade from a 17" LCD I previously used is definitely worth it. The built in audio is a little weak, not really suitable fro enjoying music, but okay for routine Internet and computer use.

I have ordered about 20 monitors for my company and the employees love it. It is mainly used for employee who tend to spend most of them time reviewing and creating spreadsheets, engineers, and some employees that have a hard time seeing the smaller screens. I have been impressed by its quality and i will purchase about 20 more when it goes back i sale for [$]

Best monitor I could find for this price. Better picture and less glare than the 19 inch Dell that I purchase a few months ago.
Buy one, you will love it.

I was amazed at the low price.

Took a while to find a good color contrast setting. The picture fades out with the slightest eye level movement above center.
So far it seems to be a good deal for the cost.
Nice monitor for the money. Haven't tried the integral speakers, because I have a set up, but could see where this could be a nice feature if space is at a premium. So far, so good. Terrifc deal overall, [...]

nice monitor, easy plug and play setup, very good value [...]. If using DVI, must use DVI-D cable (will not work with DVI-I). I'm not using built-in speakers.

The size of this monitor is awesome and the price was too! Some reviews said the sound was too low. However, if you adjust your computer settings, and the internal monitor settings it's just fine. You need to go to the V7 website to get instructions on how to do that, but it's very simple once you know how.

I guess you get what you pay for. I tried exchanging the unit [...], but they refused because it was an online sale. I didn't have time to go through all the headaches of calling and getting an RMA, so I got stock with it. I don't know if mine is defective or that's the way they all display images. If I had to do it again, I would buy a different brand.
Very pleased with this product, both quality and value.

Bargain price (when I bought it) for this value line monitor. Picture is crystal clear. Did take some time to get my video card programmed to accept the 1680x1050 resolution (should have been noted in the specs). If you're card doesn't have this resolution, or can't be programmed Dont't Buy This Monitor - 1280x768 is virtually unreadable (narrow lines, letter i, disappear in areas of the screen).

Bought the monitor for the price and size. Never heard of this brand before, but read a few good reviews and im happy that i purchased this monitor. No dead pixels. Great colors. I played Bioshock on full resolution and graphics are flawless. Combined with a great video card too. The stand could have been built a little better. Havent heard the speakers (I have 5.1 surround).
Overall, its big and beautiful!

My 3rd and best LCD monitor. Can not go wrong for the price or with [...], if you don't like it, send it back.

I was happy with this monitor. It was bright, sharp text, perfect for us at the office. I cant help you if you are a gamer, but if you are getting this for work applications i would say it is a good buy.

I just installed this monitor and all I can say is WOW! A lot of bang for the buck here! It is comparable with my Samsung Synchmaster, which, by the way, came with a dead pixel. This monitor has none.[...]I use an external sound system so I can't comment on the sound quality.Oh, and the 3 year warranty doesn't hurt either!I'm very pleased!
[...] It is just great. I love all aspects of it.

When I purchased this monitor it had 2 reviews; one review was good and the other was a scathing diatribe. Well, I took a chance and it was well worth it. The screen works great and I am a very happy camper as I switch from work related material to videos. For the price, I don't believe you can go wrong buying this monitor.

Don't give up on this monitor when you plug it in. It took me about four tries with the brightness and contrast and Apple's color correction software to get it right but once you take the time to adjust it it is a very decent monitor and I am moving up from a Sony 19" which was too dark for accurate colors and it couldn't be adjusted out.

I've had this for almost 1 year. Works great. I use this every day at work. It was fun when everyone stopped by and said, "Wow. Nice monitor." I use it often with both Excel and Powerpoint visable at the same time.

For a 22" at [$] and such great image, it worth it, and I had it for half a year already, great value. Highly recommended.

I think this is a great monitor for its price (when it's on sale). The picture is vivid and clear. The monitor itself looks good with its white trim. The only downside I've come across is the built-in front speakers sound worse than my 12" laptop's speakers. Otherwise its worth 5 stars.

it lasted 10 minutes in my studio. Very poor picture, cheaply made, should have known better at the price. Returned monitors and purchased a fantastic 19" Gateway Hi Def.for [$]

Bought this monitor last time around and the picture is great. Price and warranty is great. The sound quality was horrible. Sent it in under warranty to corporate for replacement and the new monitor has the same poor quality sound, and my sound card is excellent and has no issues. Just wanted to pass on my 2 cents.

So far, after a couple of weeks of use, I like it. The picture is very good once I got it adjusted. The controls on the monitor did not seem to affect the picture much but my Nvidia VGA card software took care of everything once I customized it for the resolution. (I find I prefer running it at 1440 x 900 rather than the "native" 1680 x 1050 but it runs fine at either.) Note, my 3 year old low-end Compaq desktop had a built in video chip that would not run the monitor at an acceptable resolution so I had to install a card.[...]Documentation is limited.Overall it seems like a quality product. The brightness specifications do not seem to mean much as I had to turn down the brightness for the best picture.
