This model seems to have become HP's standard flat screen as it's available in PC packages and solo. It's a terrific value due to competitive price and very good display. Factory preset display settings are a bit bright and harsh; use the excellent "My HP Display" software to adjust them to your preference. Screen glare is not a problem if you point it away from windows and overhead lights. Includes an HDMI cable, a bonus if you have a newer PC. OOB experience was very good -- had it up and running and adjusted within 30 minutes.

We bought two of these screens in January. One is perfect, the other no longer works. It is not the screen that is the problem, it is the fact that I have been on the phone for 32 minutes with people that do not understand anything I am saying. The moniter is still under warranty but they are giving me a hard time about replacing it. GOOD LUCK IF YOU NEED SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The gloss finish on the monitor results in a crisp picture quality, far above those with matte finishes. After using a laptop that also had a glossy finish, I could not go matte. Would highly recommend this monitor (the 22/24" would be even better).

This monitor was on sale at Staples.com for [$]. For the $ it's a good monitor. There is some glare due to the glossy finish on the screen but then this glossy finish improves the color detail on the screen. The text is very good on this monitor.

My mother got this monitor with her computer. They had it up and running along with all the other monitors they sell and this was just awesome in comparison. Every single other monitor looked like it had a film over it. The colors are striking and the clarity is unbelievable - it looks like you can reach into it and be there.
