The large viewing area is definately a plus. The biggest drawback is no DVI connection, had to "dummy-down" my Mac's Video output. Colors are good, clarity is good, and of course, the price was great.

Overall am very pleased with the monitor. Replaced my 19" CRT monitor and what a space saver! Decided to reconnect other speakers, as the built-in speakers are not great quality and the volume is quite limited. For the price though, I'd buy another one.

I enjoy doing embroidery digitizing and needed a bigger screen which is working well with this new monitor. My only problem has been trying to adjust the brightness, height and width so that the images aren't skewed when digitizing. Otherwise I think it's a great product.

I was looking for a 22" monitor w/ HDMI input (as my Q6600 system does not have Analog/D-Sub out put). Other monitors were 300+ range. When I saw this on sale[$] I jumped on it (as it also had good reviews). So far it is working good from last one month, no dead pixel etc. Overall I found this a good monitor.

This is a primary monitor on a dual monitor system. I do a lot of photography, and the color is excellent. No dead or stuck pixels. Text is blurry unless the resolution is set at 1680 x 1050, which is fine on a screen this size. The built in speakers are weak and tinny, but I always use external speakers, so its ok. If I needed another monitor, this is definitely the one I would buy.

The pros were that it was cheap and a pretty good monitor. Response time is quick, although I don't do that much gaming.
The cons was that the power button placement is at the bottom of the monitor, unlike a lot of monitors that I have used. So when I first got the monitor I kept pressing the 'G' button which is the light to tell you that it is on.
I use this primarily to watch TV in my guest room and to play some games, does its job can't really complain about it.

The biggest problem when writing programs is that you don't have enough screen space for all the windows that you want open - this monitor solves that problem and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The day I got the first one I quickly went to Staples Wed Site and ordered a second one.
I'm not one who plays games, so I couldn't rate it for that, but for business it's great.

Picked this one up from Staples.com for much less than the MSRP and I absolutely love the sharp colors, the crisp text (provided you run it at 1680x1050), and the decent black levels. The screen is plenty bright, but won't burn out your retinas either.
First person shooters look gorgeous on this screen, so long as you enable VSYNC... otherwise you'll see moving horizontal bars of varying darkness.
My only con with this monitor is the stuck pixels... my first one had a bright green stuck pixel that would not go away after the usual methods, and after a quick exchange I now have one with a dim red stuck pixel... not sure if it's worth the hassle of returning it again or not at this point. Great monitor otherwise.

Great as a desktop monitor, console monitor or even if you want to hook your high def. DVD to it. Only thing I wish it had is multiple HDMI, not a big deal.

Mine did come with a stuck pixel but those are easily fixable. If you do not know how to fix a stuck pixel, all you need to do is get a q-tip, something to cover the pixel on monitor, and software you get get for free on the net, search "stuck pixel fixer" and run the pixel fixer and lightly rub the pixel with the q-tip and will become unstuck. Occasionally works on dead pixels as well.

Initial VGA to DVI hookup resulted in slight vertical "waves" that moved at a slow speed upwards on the screen. This effect was most apparent on grey/black/white gradient or solid backgrounds. However, after hooking up the HDMI to DVI cable, quality has been perfect. So, just a warning to those who are thinking about purchasing: ensure that you plan to use HDMI, otherwise go with a different monitor.

I bought this for my son and he is very pleased with it. The size is great (I'd like those extra two inches too!!).
The only disappointment is the speakers that have a metallic sound.
I am a Mac user myself and my iMac has speakers, microphone, CD/DVD all incorporated in the screen. The sound quality is fab. I probably expected the same from this cheap monitor and it's not the case at all. So we ended up hooking the old speakers again...... but that's the only downfall I may think of.
