This was easy to set up and has worked perfectly for the application we are using it for. I simply use this to provide wireless internet inside the walls of my home. I was unable to connect to the wireless at first. I had to Email tech support for troubleshooting. I have to set the channel instead of letting choose one and that seemed to fix the issue

the router did not hook up correctly out of the box so, i spent about 3 hours on the phone with their tech support trying to set it up with no luck. it turned out that the router was dead no arival. also while i was calling their tech support i noticed that they had a option just for problems with this router. seems kind of fishy to me.

I use 2 laptops on this router. One is for work, the other personal. I have had it for about 2 weeks and have had no problems. Easy set-up, no CD required or install. OS didn't matter, I have XP on work and Vista on personal.

I do not do a lot of gaming, but for videos, web-sites, i-tunes, etc.. the speed is more than I can use. (both laptops at same time) Use the price match.

This is my second one, same model number, just because i thought it would be easier. This product has had 2 driver upgrades. 8/07 and 11/07. We cant stay connected for more then 30 seconds. The upgrade is obtainable at the manufacturers site but its a .bin file. Part of the windows software, you need to purchase software to open the file. you need to have 1 pc hard wired and running 24/7 to use the laptops. Its a big headache. The older belkin didn't need this, because of the driver upgrade, its a must.

I had some difficulty setting this router up myself. The router itself worked fine right out of the box but my computer wouldn't recognize it; turns out it was an issue with Vista. Because I have Vista, the install CD that came with the router was useless (apparently it works with most other systems, just not Vista). After enlisting the help of a more computer savvy friend we managed to get it going, but not easily. I wouldn't call this "easy to set up" but otherwise it’s been great.

Router construction cheap. Reset button awkward. Basically, router didn't work. Either couldn't make initial connection with my laptop. Or would connect for one or two web pages ad then stop working. Tried it on two Toshiba laptops and got same results for both. Can't recommend.

I was recommended this product by a friend who is a IT Supervisor. I followed the set-up as it was presented on the CD-ROM; still could not get a signal from my modem (Road-Runner DSL); called the 24hr customer service line at 12mn CST and I was connected to India!! I told the technician about my problem with my connection he spoke very fast and was impatient with me and my inexperience with my new lap top. I called repeatedly to the technical service line and asked to be connected to the US and I was not. I know that a lot of companies have out sourced their technical support--but when a customer asks to connected to the party of their choice--it is good customer reations to grant their request. I contacted my Cable service provider and they installed a router for me and it is working very well. I am returning my Belkin Router[...]Sincerely, Leesa E. Johnson

This is a good router. (I've installed several of these.) The one user with problems has a bad one. He should have exchanged it. [...]It's easy to set up and update and software is logically arranged. Belkin still gives a LIFETIME warranty, which no one else does. For the price, you can't beat it.
