    I'm not impressed with it. I always thot HP was a good brand but it only lasted till the warranty was up and now all I get are paper and cartridge jams. It doesn't load or eject paper right just gives me error after error. This is not what you are looking for unless you want to be buying a new printer every year. That's not me. I will be looking at other brands to find something more reliable.

    Very quick setup. Bought to replace a Canon printer that mysteriously claimed "paper jam" and could never get working again properly. Unlike the Canon MP530 printer, this printer did not have any problems with my Vista laptop. Printing seem a little slow but considering everything else, I would buy an HP over a Canon. I have an HP G55 that has been working reliably now for 8+ years.

    Purchased unit for family use. Only had it a few weeks. Have not had a chance to Fax or Scan. But copying and printing is great. Control panel features are user friendly. The back-to-back printing requires manual repositioning of paper -takes a little bit of practice.

    I have found this printer to be the least desirable HP printer I have ever owned. I have owned several, and always have found HP to be the highest quality in color printing, and ease of use. However, this particular model has given me more trouble than it is really worth. I'm not sure that cramming all the functions into this one machine is really the best. Perhaps newer models work better. I had to return the first machine due to manufacturer defects, and the replacement machine worked no better. Considering the volume of printing I do, I did not have time to return the second machine, which is also defective. The carriage jams frequently, especially upon start up, making it necessary to leave it on all the time. It has frequent paper jams, and programming the machine's FAX function can be frustrating and I have found it impossible to change the machine's printing order. I have tried several times to change it from 'back to front' order to 'front to back' unsuccessfully. Lastly, the printing is slow, wasting a ridiculous amount of time positioning and repositioning the carriage before it actually begins printing. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with this machine and will be sure to carefully check out a new machine before purchasing. I have always loved HP printers, but this one has made me doubt their quality for future purchases.

    This is the 2nd HP5610 I've had; both have performed very well. Would be nice if it had a bigger paper tray, and my black toner cart gets low a little too early for me. And I'm not crazy about the HP Diagnostics software that comes with most HP stuff nowadays (seems to me to just get in the way). But the printer does everything it's supposed to do well. Love the flat-top scanner/fax mode. The menu on the printer itself may cause you to hunt around for things that should be obvious (like Date/Time for your fax header is actually under Advanced Fax features instead of Basic Fax Setup), but otherwise it's a good peripheral. Hey, what do you want for under an all-in-one that costs less than [$], anyway? :)

    I use this for my home business - sadly the cheaper Lexmark AIO has better programs, a faster scanner, and has the option of printing in fast draft to save ink. Unfortunately I have a Mac which is only compatible with this or an Epson. If you plan to use this a lot save your self a headache and try something else or shell out more money for a better one! I am thankful it works, but it isn't as easy as some other models!

    Broken on arrival. Printer page ejector didn't move printed page when finished, from under print platten and next page would feed under previous page resulting in jams and over printing on the bottom of the page that didn't eject.

    I haven't gone one day since our purchase of the printer without using one of its features. I am still using the same ink cartrigages that were provided with the machine as well. It fits up underneath my desk top next to my computer. There is even still a little space for the 2 binders that are used daily.
