The motor is quite noisy. For some reason it doesn't shut off when there's nothing to do, so the shredder has to be turned on for each run, and turned off after the paper is done.

I use the shredder mostly for financial information documents and Identity documents. I like the fact that it's compact and can shred for quite a long time. It would be nice to have a shred shoot the could be attached so you could have a constant flow into a large plastic bag , maybe a slot across the middle of the canister at an angle. You can figure it out. That would make it multi-job (sm. med. lg.) capacity.

A great machine if you don't need to do a ton of shredding. It did overheat when I did several minutes in a row but once it cooled off was fine.

The sales rep told me up front it was not made to do excessive amounts but the price fit my budget and it has worked fine. especially like it can do those fake credit cards they send you in the mail.

One of the better features of the cross-cut shredders is that the output that ends up in the bin is much more compact than just vertical/line shredders, so much more capacity for less emptying required and less possibility of jams.
I like the separate credit card feature, and that the blades continue to revolve for a short time after paper cleared to lessen chance of a jam.
