Did not protect my computer well enough from spyware and virus. I had to purchase another program to resolve the issues. You only get preprogramed responses, no live people. What a waste of money. If I could have rated it a "0" stars I would have.

The scan function works well and quickly. But no progress bar, no time until completion shown, no ability to select/restrict drives. Same for the defrag function. 2Gb online storage could be handy for some folks. I wish there was somehtin gin th eproduct description that would have mentioend that it's for beginners - I expected more from Norton.

I did have some problems initially with the install but those seem to have been caused by the attempts to interface with Charter cable. You do need to make sure that any other Norton software is uninstalled prior to installation.

I hate that I wasted the money on this product. It doesn't work with other programs. My computer freezes all the time since I put this program on my computer. I'm considering removing it from my computer. A big waste of money.

Like my computer/improved speed. Norton removes junk files (installed by web sites etc) and optimizes much better and quicker. Think it removes old file fragments as well. I feel using my computer while on internet is safer with 360.

"Engine Error" associated with the Fraud Monitor that is present when using Internet Explorer. The only "fix" is to uninstall the entire 360 program and even with that I needed to complete a system restore and a 2nd reinstall to get the error banner to go back to the usual green color indicating no fraud at the web site you are at.

Upon installing this product I immediately had problems with my system. I had to download the norton "remover" and re-install the program. It still has my computer working at a pace slower than a snail. Would never buy again, ever.

Does many tasks including Backups. My problem was that it quit working and had to be reinstalled 3-times in one year. Tech support was helpful in getting that done. It does slow down the PC when background checks are being conducted. I did renew for another year since the price was right and service acceptable.

It was very difficult to install the Norton 360 program to the second pc. Even though it's said that can be installed in three pc's.

Installed easily, but caused 5 minute delays on startup. Interfered with several software programs, as well as freezing my printer. Reinstalled printer software twice, but still no joy. Took 3 hours to remove from my PC. Everything, including printer is back to normal now.

I installed this product about 3 months ago, its very easy to keep your computer updated and it lets you know everything you set it to let you know about your performance. Also was wasy to install on my moms pc and father in laws and they both are out of state and running on my program from my one disk. Highly recommend this to everyone with a pc.

Dont buy this software under any circumstance. Symantech should be ashamed of putting this software out. Here are the specific problems I encountered in the first week: (1) Blocked my wireless network connection (on both laptops). (2) Using Norton "Help" to Fix it has now ALSO disabled my wireless hardware. (3) My high-end laptop speed has slowed down significantly (by about 40 to 50%). All tasks now take very long and forget about multitasking. (4) It will take over your laptop functions without your authorization. Bottom line, DONT BUY!!

I like the feature that tells me if a website is fraud or not. It is great that I can use it on my computer and my daughters (who is a college student) laptop. The security feature for paying bills online is a big plus also.

Have used Norton since Peter was around. My opinion: this is the worst piece of software they've created. I'm 107 day from end of subscription and have reinstalled it on laptop 6 times and desktop 4 times. It is very slow, hogs processor time, updates are irratic, scans take hours! (1.7ghz processor) and looses sync with Symantec subscription database often -- all of a sudden it won't work because you haven't activated it! If you do buy it, keep the disk with you at all times -- you'll need it often.

I have used norton products for over 12 years. All work great. This product (360) is NOT what Norton has been known for! Live update works ONLY SOMETIMES. Takes VERY LONG, actually EXCESSIVELY LONG to do virus scans. Even if you do them DAILY, it takes forever. AND I have a new Pent dual 2 with 2 MEG RAM and much more. ALL OTHER PROGRAMS run much better on my new laptop, EXCEPT 360. I have spent at least 35 - 40 hours on the phone with Norton. They seem to care, BUT CAN NOT FIX ISSUES. I WISH I HAD NEVER INSTALLED PROGRAM.

This takes up too much resources and most importantly - my time!!! I devoted several days to trying to make this program work for me. I had so many issues that I finally dumped it and bought another product, which I am very happy with. I think the problem is that there is TOO much security--so much that you can hardly do anything online because of the slowness! I probably should've bought the antivirus only!

I had a 2 plus year old lap top w/HT P4 processor and 512mb memory. It was running fine and then 360 came along. Shortly after installing it, I got a large update and suddenly my processor was maxed out. My laptop would simply freeze for 6-8 seconds or more a couple of times a minute. My consultant thought I had corrupted XP somehow and reloaded my pc completely. Which worked like a charm for about a week then along came the 360 update and I was freezing again. I tried everything but something was running in the background using up all my processor capacity. I tried disabling parts of 360 as I could, which helped somewhat so I maxed out the memory at 2 gigs without any improvement. I gave up and bought a new lap top thinking it was hardware and even with a Dual processor and 2 gigs of memory I am noticing slight hesitations. Unless you have a top of the line processor and significant memory, I would stay away. My consultant is recommending systems works and I will go to it when this expires or sooner if it continues to derogate my response time. I do like the back up feature and the disk optimizer, but obviously the program has some issues and on-line support meary has you disable pieces When you reboot you are right back to square one.

It like being on dial up when loading web pages. The Live Update is always running in a diffrent process Somewhere! It is always getting Error 5! The fix never helps. It's always saying something to you. Back up, live update, week passwords, It was just too slow for our business. And when we called for support they could not speed it up at all. We ended up uninstalling it and buying Norton internet 2008.

We intended to use this product on our home pc, but were unsuccessful with the application. It bogged down our computer and we just weren't able to function. We ended up removing it and purchasing another product which is working better and faster.

Slowed down the computer to a crawl. My computer crashed. The update took several times to work properly. Tried reinstalling several times, with help from Symantec, but it still wouldn't work properly. One of the most unreliable pieces of software I have ever bought.

It works for it's intended use. However, these day's P C protection should be intergral to the operating system. Not an add-on.
Couldn't say anything is Great about it. Has firewall issues with Vista.
It seems to accomplish its design purose, rather expensively I must say.

Finally a software company that realizes that we have more than 1 computer in our home and don't want to spent a few hundred dollars a year per program to keep them all in shape!
