A giant step up from Works Spreadsheet & Word Processor. The ability to do most home projects with "Excel" and "Word" are the best features. Still learning about "One Note" but it has great possibilities.

I loved XP and Office 2003. I had Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook on that version on my last computer. I loved them.

What happened Microsoft? You blew it with Vista and now you blew it again with Office 2007.

You changed all the menus, graphics and the way you do everything. I have to unlearn all I have come to depend on from MS and learn a new, not logical, not better way of doing things. Its kinda like Windows ME or 3.0

You forgot to put Outlook in this bundle and a guy has to spend MUCH more just to get it. They bundled some organizer that promises much, but is complicated to use.

I looked all over for MS Expressions or Front Page and could not find it anywhere. Not bundled or by itself. What is going on here? Is Microsoft disintigrating form the inside?

If you can buy a copy of 2003, do so... Much better.

The change in looks from 2003 version was quite scary but I am finding navigation quite easy and actually fun to use. I am a visual person so the looks are actually very beneficial for me. I loved having a coupon available and making it affordable for home use as I retired and no longer had it available for use at school/home.

I have used MS office for many years, so this upgrade was the logical choice. Some of the new changes took some time to get used to, but worth the effort for the new flexibility.

I am a medical transcriptionist and I type reports to go into patient's charts. The only problem I have had with this program is the font and spacing will not hold within a document after it has been changed. If I transfer information from one document to another the spacing and the font changes back to the factory default instead of keeping with the font and spacing I have in the document that I am working on. This becomes very frustrating and time consuming in having to change the font and spacing on the added material. This has been the only problem I have encountered with this program. Overall it is relatively easy to work with.
