    I use this pen for school and it is perfect. I don't lend it out in fear of it not getting returned. It does not skip at all and actually improves your hand writing, no joke. It is very amusing to see how people open it because they twist the wrong end thinking its a twist pen or try pulling on the wrong end.

    I purchased this item after trying the retractable version. This version is no where near as nice as the retractable. It skips, is not as smooth...a real disappointment
