This is the only pen I use for daily business and for all my personal and abundant letter writing, note-taking and handwritten drafts. For letter writing, I appreciate the pen tip contact with virtually any paper texture. The ink beautifully grabs the paper nap and leaves a crisp, intense ink line.

Rather than use employer-supplied pens, I purchase my own Vision Elite; I like the writing quality and I am worth that. Between uses, the ink doesn't dry up; since at any one time, I have from 15 to 30 Vision Elites in my bag, this does become important! Do I fear being without a 'good' pen? Yes. Do I prefer Vision Elite? OH YES! I enjoy writing very much, and as Vision Elite becomes more and more difficult to find, I snatch them up as I can afford. I only regret that it's been impossible to get packs of only blue/fine or only purple/fine, even through the catalog.

When I deign to lend a pen to someone, they inevitably make a very positive comment after using it - and think it's much more expensive than it is. One woman borrowed my pen (I had told her it was my favorite) and at the next year's library conference, she remembered to return it! Please don't stop making the Vision Elite completely. I much prefer blue and purple, but will be content if black is the only choice - just so it's a Vision Elite!!
