About this product
This mini-tower uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides battery backup power (using sine wave output) and surge protection for connected equipment including computers, networking devices, personal electronics, and entertainment systems. Sine wave output is necessary for devices that require Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC) power source compatibility. Additional features include automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to correct minor fluctuations without switching to battery mode, a multifunction LCD with color display to keep you informed about power conditions, and two USB charging ports to conveniently charge and power mobile devices. The PFC Sinewave CP1500PFCLCD comes with a three-year warranty (including coverage of batteries) and a $500,000 lifetime connected equipment guarantee.
- Surge energy rating: 1445 joules
- Equipped with 12 surge-protected outlets for seamless connectivity (6 battery-connected)
- Product Dimensions are 3.9"W x 11"H x 14.0"D with a Cord Length of 5 ft (1.5 m).
- Multifunction LCD Panel - Displays immediate, detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions, alerting users to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime.
- This UPS has a Runtime of 2.5 min at Full Load and a Runtime of 10 min at Half Load. The Nominal Input Voltage is 120 VAC using an input plug type NEMA 5-15P.
- Meets or exceeds UL1778, cUL 107.3, FCC DOC Class B, RoHS, ENERGY STAR standards
- UPS protects electronic equipment and prevents data loss during a power outage
- Featuring serial and USB interfaces for communication and management, this UPS provides surge protection and filtering for RJ11/RJ45 (in/out combo) ports and coax lines (in/out)
- Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) - Provides clean, consistent AC power by automatically increasing (boosting) low voltage without using battery power when incoming utility power experiences minor fluctuations.
- Line Interactive Topology - Exists when a line interactive UPS has an autotransformer that regulates low voltages (e.g., brownouts) and over voltages (e.g., spikes) without having to switch to battery.
- Warranty: 3 Year Limited Warranty

Battery Backup & Surge Protection
The UPS's internal battery supplies power long enough for equipment to properly shut down when utility power fails. This helps prevent loss of data and minimizes the component stress caused by a hard shutdown. All outlets feature surge protection to divert excess voltage away from sensitive electronic equipment during a utility power surge or power spike to prevent damage.
Sine Wave Output & Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
This UPS generates a sine wave output waveform that is identical to, or cleaner than, the utility company's power grid. Benefits of sine wave output include low total harmonic distortion, minimal electronic noise, and optimal line clarity. The UPS also features AVR, which increases utility power and maintains a safe voltage level without switching to battery mode. This conserves battery life for when it is needed the most and lessens the likelihood of data loss, memory freezes, and system crashes. AVR is essential in areas where power fluctuations occur frequently.
Multifunction LCD with Color Display
The multifunction LCD displays immediate, detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions, alerting you to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime. Color icons clearly communicate UPS status: green for normal, yellow for warning, and red for alerts that may require action. The multifunction LCD also tilts up to 22 degrees for easy viewing and allows you to customize the alarm, LCD display, and sensitivity settings on the UPS.
