It’s not grey
Have not gotten it together yet- had to call for help. You will need a rubbe mallet to get casters into bottom support. I am confident I will finish it and I like the materials. It’s black, which is fine .

I spent a lot of time in the store looking at chairs. I was willing to spend up to $300. Lot of chairs there. Nothing caught my eye. I kept going back to this one, very similar to my old chair. I liked the ALL STEEL construction. Any way I bought it and not $300. On sale for $99.99 Very happy. I bought different wheels for it, for hard wood floors.

So far so good
Taller than I thought. 5’2” and my legs dangle in the air at its lowest height. Had I tried sitting on it I wouldn’t have bought it.
Anyway, when I was at Staples, sales people were very helpful. I just bought this online while at Staples because this was $10 cheaper than the one I liked on the floor. That may have been the better buy but anyway, this one works out.

Bolt wouldn’t fit for set up of seat
The metal seat bracket would not allow the last bolt to be Allen wrenched in and the replacement sent was a bottom seat when I needed the bracket that would work, which is on order now. I loved the back support of the chair when I was in the store. If the chair was like the one I tried in the store, this would be 5 stars
