High quality
These file folders are of high quality. Two concerns I had, since they are made of recycled paper, was whether the paper would be strong and stiff and whether the colors would be strong and vibrant. I'm a primary colors type of person, rather than pastel. I am very satisfied with both characteristics. Each color has tabs at the different tab locations (1/3 cut fashion).

The folders are okay but the folders aren't heavy duty. The folders are too flexible.

Better than most
I normally use the Staples brand heavy-duty file folders, they are heavier and nicer than these. These are heavier than normal, but no where close to the Staples brand. I cannot find the Staples heavy duty folders, so they may be discontinued.

Upgrading file folders
The Smead supertab heavyweight file folders were definitely a step up from my raggedy manila file folders and should hold up for many years, I would certainly recommend them.

Hard to find
The extra width of the tabs Is very useful. The durability of the heavyweight folders adds to their life-span and allows me to stash heavier materials with no problems. I had "inherited" a heavyweight folder some years ago and wondered why they weren't more popular. Glad to find them!

color coding made easy
These folders are heavy enough they will hold up with regular use well. They will probably outlast me. I like to be able to color code files for easy retrieval.

Good for heavy use
Heaavier than the normal, so good for long lasting files. Normally I use a "Poly" file, but these seem to be as good.

Great Durable Folders
As an event planner, each event has a folder that is used during the planning, at the event and then filed. These folders last the entire journey without replacement. As a member of IAAP, I am grateful for SMEAD's partnering with IAAP.
