Become a supplier
For consideration to become a Staples® diversity supplier, your organization must be recognized by a reputable certifying agency.
Organizations will be selected based on merit, as well as the needs of Staples and its
customers. It's our goal to not only make things easy for our customers, but also to support
the development of diverse suppliers.
Recognized minority groups as defined by the federal government are as follows:
- African-American: A U.S. citizen having origins in any of the Black racial
groups of Africa.
- Asian-Indian: A U.S. citizen whose origins are from India, Pakistan and
Bangladesh.
- Asian-Pacific: A U.S. citizen whose origins are from Japan, China, Taiwan,
Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Trust Territories
of the Pacific or the Northern Marianas.

Spanish-speaking areas of Latin America or the following regions: Mexico, Central
America, South America and the Caribbean Basin only.
