Is an advertising agency for you?

Q: What are the pros and cons of using an advertising agency?

A: If you spend $200,000 or more each year on advertising, get the help of an ad agency. If you spend less, consider starting your own inhouse agency. Another alternative is to enlist the help of a small one or two person agency. Most specialize in clients spending $10,000 or more per ad campaign.
If your business is very small, try the do–it–yourself approach. Jay Levinson's popular Guerrilla Marketing series gives the small business person excellent ideas for making minimal ad dollars to a long way. And read the ideas in this forum whenever you can.
