A: You need a big desk and a comfortable chair, a computer, and at least two phone lines, preferably three. The first is a dedicated line for your business phone; you don't want to be sharing a phone with your family. You also need a fax line – giving out your phone number as your fax number looks unprofessional. Finally, if you will be spending much time online, you need a modem line (unless you can get a DSL or cable line, which is even better).
