OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 48 CONTIGUOUS U.S. & D.C., WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER AND POSSESS A WEB-ENABLED MOBILE DEVICE AS OF NOVEMBER 26, 2018. VOID IN AK, HI AND WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Staples Ship-to-Win Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 9:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 27, 2018 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on December 17, 2018 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and D.C., who are 18 years of age and older, who possess a web-enabled mobile device as of November 26, 2018. Void in Alaska, Hawaii and where prohibited by law. Employees of Staples the Office Superstore, LLC (“Sponsor”) and their subsidiaries, Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”) and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, promotional partners, agencies, affiliates, advertising, and promotion agencies and the immediate family members of their employees or those residing in the same household are not eligible. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws.

3. HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, enter via Twitter and/or Instagram (each a “Social Media Platform”), as instructed below.
a) TWITTER METHOD OF ENTRY: Tweet a photo of your Staples Pack & Ship excursion (or any selfie) in or around a Staples store location (your “Picture”), including the hashtag #ShipToWinSweepstakes and tag @Staples to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes (your “Entry”). You must have a Twitter account to enter via Twitter. If you do not have a Twitter account, visit www.Twitter.com for a free account. Including #ShipToWinSweepstakes and the mention @Staples in an Entry (i.e., your tweet) during the Sweepstakes Period constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules and that your Entry may be posted in a gallery.

b) INSTAGRAM METHOD OF ENTRY: Using your web-enabled mobile device, post a Picture (defined above), including the hashtag #ShipToWinSweepstakes and tag @Staples to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes (your “Entry”). You must have an Instagram account to enter via Instagram. If you do not have an Instagram account, visit www.Instagram.com to download the app. Including #ShipToWinSweepstakes and the mention @Staples in an Entry (i.e., your post) during the Sweepstakes Period constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules and that your Entry may be posted in a gallery.

Limit one Entry per day per Social Media Platform account; however, Entries submitted to the same Social Media Platform on a different day must consist of a unique Picture (i.e., a Picture may not be submitted to the same Social Media Platform more than once). A person may only enter using one of each Social Media Account per day. Entrants must have a non-private Social Media Platform account to enter; i.e., entries must be visible in public hashtag searches from time of entry through time of winner verification. For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, a “day” is defined as beginning at 12:00:00 a.m. ET each day and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. ET each day, with the exception of the first day, which will begin at 9:00:00 a.m. ET and end at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. All Entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on December 17, 2018 to be eligible for the random drawing.

All Entry title/caption/text, if included with an Entry, must be in English. All Entries must comply with these Official Rules to be eligible. If any other person is depicted in Picture, he/she must have provided his/her consent to be included in your Picture and any minor depicted must be your child/charge. Entries must be in keeping with Sponsor’s image, or desired image, or they will be disqualified. The Entry may not contain obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory or inappropriate images or text; and may not include nudity, acts of violence, acts that appear to cause injury or harm, or acts that are illegal or dangerous, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor has the sole discretion to determine whether an Entry is eligible. Any Entry that violates this section or is otherwise objectionable (as determined solely by Sponsor), will not be considered and will be disqualified. Automated, script, macro or robotic Entries will be disqualified. Some Entries may be posted online to the Sweepstakes gallery (“Gallery”), after review by the Sponsor. Not all Entries will be posted online and those posted may be removed by Sponsor at any time, for any reason. Posting of an Entry in online Gallery will have no bearing on Sweepstakes eligibility or winner determination. Entries will not be judged. Entries must be in keeping with Sponsor's image and may not be offensive, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.

4. TRANSFER OF RIGHTS: By submitting an Entry, entrants and winners acknowledge and agree that their Entries (including Social Media Platform handle and all information submitted as part of the Entry) become the property of the Sponsor, which thereby has the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, promote and otherwise use Entries in any way it sees fit.

5. RANDOM DRAWINGS: Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about December 19, 2018 from all eligible Entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. The random drawing will be conducted by the Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible Entries received.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION/VERIFICATION: If a potential winner entered via Twitter and follows @Staples or if a potential winner entered via Instagram and follows @Staples, he/she will be notified via a Direct Message on Twitter/Instagram by Sponsor (or Administrator on Sponsor’s behalf) within two business days following the random drawing and will be asked to privately provide his/her contact information to the Sponsor/Administrator, including email address, so that a Prize Acceptance Form (“Prize Documents”) can be sent to the potential winner. If a potential winner entered via Instagram and does not follow @Staples he/she will be notified via a Direct Message as described above. If potential winner does not follow @Staples on Twitter, Sponsor will reply to potential winner’s tweet with his/her Entry that he/she must follow @Staples on Twitter within 48 hours to receive a Direct Message so that Prize Documents can be sent to Potential winner. If potential winner does not follow @Staples (on Twitter) by the time instructed and/or does not send an email to the email address indicated in the Direct Message within 48 hours, an alternate winner may be selected and notified as set forth herein. Potential winners will have 48 hours from the time the Direct Message or comment is posted/sent to reply (subject to additional deadlines set forth above if potential winner does not follow @ Staples on Twitter). Potential Grand and First Prize winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor in his/her state of residence “minor”) will then each be required to electronically sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) and Assignment of Rights (“Affidavit Package”) within five (5) business days of notification attempt or winner status will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected and notified as indicated above. Potential Second through Fifth Prize winners may need to verify their mailing address/eligibility/provide an Assignment of Rights (“Release”) within five (5) business days of notification attempt or winner status will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected and notified as indicated above. Return of Affidavit Package/Release as undeliverable, if any portion of the Affidavit Package/Release is not received within the required time period, or if a potential winner is deemed ineligible, potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected.

7. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Five (5) Grand Prizes - a $1,000 Staples Gift Card. One (1) First Prize – "Free shipping services for a year in-store at Staples”, awarded in the form of a $600 Staples Gift Card.. One (1) Second Prize – A Gaming Bundle consisting of a Staples Helix Gaming Chair and Samsung 860 EVO SSD Drive (ARV: $410). One (1) Third Prize – a Breakroom Bundle consisting of A Keurig K1500 Brewer and a Sponsor-specified assortment of coffee, snacks and accessories (ARV: $334). One (1) Fourth Prize - a Tech Bundle consisting of an HP Sprocket Photo Printer, Apple Airpods, and a Logitech Wireless Laser Mouse (ARV: $310). One (1) Fifth Prize – an Organization Bundle consisting of a Sponsor-specified assortment of Martha Stewart folders, notebooks, clipboards, trays, journals, steno pads and pens (ARV$134). Staples Gift cards do not expire but are subject to restrictions. Sponsor and Administrator assume no responsibility for undeliverable prize notification for any reason. By accepting a prize, winners grant consent to use of their name, photograph, likeness (if applicable) and Entry to be used for advertising and promotion purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited. Prizes are not transferable; no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed except by the Sponsor who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize (or portion of prize) is unavailable. Limit one (1) prize per person/household. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value for the original prize in the event of prize unavailability. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Taxes related to the prizes are the responsibility of the winners. 8. GENERAL RULES: Normal Internet/phone access and data/usage charges imposed by entrants’ online/phone service will apply and are entrants’ sole responsibility. Sponsor is not responsible for any compatibility issues with entrant's device/browser used for Entry. Entries become the property of Sponsor upon receipt and will not be acknowledged or returned. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address associated with winner’s Social Media Platform account. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connection; miscommunications; failed phone or computer or telephone transmissions; technical failure; jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions; late, lost, incomplete, delayed, or misdirected Entries; or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical, or electronic. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site/device, or undermine the legitimate operations of the Sweepstakes, is a violation of the criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent permitted by law and to disqualify such participant from the Sweepstakes. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes and award prizes from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. Any user who, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, posts profanity, pornography or other objectionable content may be removed by Sponsor and from participating in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, or incomplete Entries. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute regarding any Entry, that Entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Social Media Platform account submitted at the time of the submission. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address/Social Media Platform account associated with the Entry. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor/Administrator. The Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in this Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or web site; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other problems beyond the control of the Sponsor and award the prizes from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. The Sponsor and each of its respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, employees, Instagram and Twitter will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or the prizes awarded. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of a prize.

9. DISPUTES: The Sweepstakes and the Official Rules shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States of America, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Entrants submit to exclusive personal jurisdiction in Commonwealth of Massachusetts and agree that any dispute shall be brought in the state and federal courts in Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred; including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but shall not include attorneys' fees. Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. If any provision of these Official Rules is deemed to be invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, such provision will be deemed to be modified or restricted to the extent and in the manner necessary to render the same valid and enforceable and these Rules will be construed and enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law as if such provision had been originally incorporated herein as so modified or restricted, or as if such provision had not been originally incorporated herein, as the case may be.

10. PRIVACY POLICY: Information collected by Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes may be used by Sponsor and shared with third parties involved in administration of the Sweepstakes in accordance with the online Privacy Policy posted at http://www.staples.com/sbd/content/help/policies/privacy.html. The Entrant agrees to the collection, processing and storage of his/her personal data by Sponsor for the purposes of the Sweepstakes.

11. WINNERS LIST: To receive a Winners List by email, send an email to: [email protected] with WINNERS 01-2824-04 as the subject line. Requests must be received by 1/18/19. Winners List will be sent after all prizes have been awarded.
