Staples® Tech Recycling

Electronics recycling & tech trade-in.

Outdated technology doesn’t have to end up in a landfill. So, when it's time to upgrade your laptops and printers or replace your ink and toner, count on Staples to recycle it responsibly.

Technology trade-in and recycling

New life for your old tech.

Your electronics may be eligible for a Staples® eCash card when you trade it in online and in store. Learn more about technology trade-in.

If your device has no trade-in value, you can still recycle it along with old, unwanted office technology products at your local Staples® store. We'll responsibly and securely recycle them at no cost to you — any brand, any condition, even if you purchased it somewhere else.

For a fee, we also offer mail-back and pickup technology recycling solutions for large businesses with 10+ employees through our Staples Advantage® division.
