Disappointing
These pens aren't nearly as smooth as ones purchased 10 years ago. They make a scratchy sound, and produce resistance to movement over the paper.

It's worked...
...for decades! Reliable, long lasting, and you can see when it's getting low. Only problem I've ever had was the pocket clip isn't shaped well enough to keep it in a shirt pocket; apply a little heat (from a BIC lighter, of course!) and a couple of well placed bends cure that problem!

BIC pens
They're nice. Much better than the cheaper ones I bought before that blotched and dried quickly. I would prefer a smooth round surface to the faceted one however.

Nice pens but NOT the ones pictured!
NOT the Original Bic Cristals made in France. They are the updated Bic Cristals 'Smooth Writing' made in Mexico. Nice pens regardless but they are not as good quality as the originals made in Europe. The boxes pictured online are OUTDATED and Staples has been notfied.
