Snow Joe Ice Melt works
With all the ice we are having this year, I keep Snow Joe on hand as it helps me walk safely down my driveway. I bought 3 of them and I am happy with the product.

Mainly Rock Salt
While the Snow Joe calcium chloride PELLETS have over 90% calcium chloride; the CRYSTALS are primarily rock salt (sodium chloride)--a fact that is not clearly represented. One has to look carefully at the product details to see that the crystals are not primarily a calcium chloride product. Shipment mishandled, had to return
I waited 10 days for this (it came after the snowstorm) and in fact 1 day after the email asking for my review. The jug cover was off and the contents completely spilled into the box. The box was inside a larger box and the smaller box was insecurely taped so the contents also spilled onto my floor when I removed the box. Returned it all to the store for a full refund b...

Easy to use!
I was able to just open and shake the ice melt in front of our office in just a few minutes. I like the ease of use and that is not too heavy.
