Digitizing family photos from last 30 years. This product just works. Waited a long time for the Epson version. 1200 dpi with enhancement takes some computer horsepower, be sure to match Epson OS version with your computer OS version for best results. Results are worth it and so easy for making digital (printed) albums.

Great photo scanner but software needs improvement
The upside is this is very easy to set up and use. Scans photos quickly and can handle Polaroids, large photos,newpapers etc.
Downside is the software UI needs updating especially the naming screen needs more options and flexibility in naming and file sorting.

Fast, good quality pictures, lousy connectivity
Works great and very fast. The scanned picture quality is excellent. My only issue is that I have not been able to connect the scanner with WiFi, only via cable. The software detected my network but failed to connect. I can’t figure out how to fix this and the software is not very friendly.

Does not work
If I could leave less than one star I would. This scanner is literally the worst in existence. I have to scan photos one by one and often it “jams” and I have to check my computer to see which photos scan, and if you use Microsoft, it will absolutely not show up in order. Wrong building delivery. '
Fedex delivered to wrong building. It had the correct address but fedex did a boo boo. Instead of 1491 they delivered to 1481. As they left I went to 1481 apt 103 and found my package I informed tenants there of mistake verified address tag and corrected the problem.

Good product -but it has issues.
Bought it this week and have already scanned over 100 pictures. Not bad but it does come with issues. First, if there is old tape or glue on the back of a picture, it jams. The back has to be scrapped clean and pristine. Secondly, it will not scan Polaroids. Too thick. Great Scanner - Degraded Scanning Software Capabilities

NOT a good photo scanner
Bought this unit Feb 2, 2025, it is fast and convenient BUT it is advertised as a photo scanner and it does that BUT the quality of the scan is very poor. I tried adjusting setting but could not get it to do a good job. Wish I had my $659.00 dollar back.

Happy With It So Far
After searching specifically for a photo scanner I decided on this Epson Scanner. The reviews were mostly positive and although it is expensive I am happy with the scanner. Setup was fairly easy with no issues. I have to say, a lot of what I am scanning are OLD photos and the automatic enhancement of the scanned image is nice. I would recommend this to my friends.

Loving it.
I got this as a gift from my late husband. I am enjoying using this machine to store all of my photographs and documents. I have had no problem using it with my MacBook Pro. I am wondering if there is a similar machine that would transfer 35 mm slides to my MacBook? That would be wonderful! Right now, I am enjoying this little gadget.

Misleading on works with Mac
I bought this to use with my 2024 iMac, as the ad said it was Mac compatible, but I was shocked that in trying to download software it seems it could only be loaded on an iPad or iPhone. Driver support is lagging behind
Did my analysis, read the reviews and then ordered this scanner so I could get started scanning all our old photos. Great scanner except for WiFi.
Received this scanner as a Christmas gift over a year ago. Works great as far as scanning photos and documents and receipts BUT i have had no luck connecting to the WiFi at home so i have to use the USB cable to connect to my computer. I'm not sure if its the scanner or my Mac Book Air that is the problem. Don't seem to be able to find any Epson software updates either....

Great tool!
My husband and I bought this a few months ago to scan our family photo archives. We have some that had faded and b&w photos that looked muddy. Using it is easy and the photo images are nicely enhanced. I’ve just recommended it to my large extended family with the hope they’ll scan and post the photos they’ve been promising to send out!

Great product
An amazing product - easy to set up with the directions and downloading the app. Works fast and color corrects old photos. Very pleased. Have forwarded some files to children. One said "These are treasures".
