Totally Awesome!!!
I've used the Papermate Inkjoy pens in the past & been happy with them. This set... SO MANY PRETTY COLORS that my prior sets did not include.

Let it blob first
Warning: Have scrap paper handy when you click before beginning to write. Do a test; it will blob. Once the blob has been expelled, the pen writes just fine. This holds true for every pen no matter what color. It is an inconvenience, but one that is absolutely necessary. Why did no previous reviewer mention this?

Gorgeous Colors, but some don't work
A couple of them I had to stubbornly work on, in order to get them to work. That being said, these are the smoothest-writing, non-smudging, gorgeous pens to write with. Add a fun twist to drudgery work, and most of the colors remain appropriate for the workplace. The paler colors are great for notes that I don't want to appear on photocopies.

I will simply say that these are great pens. They write smoothly and last quite a long time. It's nice to have a variety of colors to choose from when crafting or writing a card or letter.

I love these pens! The wide variety of colors is just an option for all my writing needs. They also work well for scrapbooking. My only reason for going 4 stars is because they were marked a lower price on the shelf than what they rang up as. 30 Colors; 10 Would Have Been Enough
I would have preferred to buy individual colors, but the only ones I could get were the basics - red and black. I like the colors for lists - different colors for different categories. I wish PaperMate Inkjoy medium ballpoint pens came in the same colors; they write smoother than the gel pens. Oh well. Lesson learned.

amount of ink will be the real test
Kind of annoying design-the body goes way down over the point so I have to lift pen a little to see if is is open or closed. The yellow ink pens are worthless, it doesn't show up on any background.
