Worst product from Staples
Staples sold an old defective item. The monitor lacks sharpness. I tried connecting with different macs and also windows laptops, but the sharpness is very poor and the words appear hazy. I didn't open the box for few months, since I was out and brought during the thanksgiving festival season. But, I now regret, it was the worst buy and waste of money.

This is perfect if you just need a no nonsense monitor! I need one for work and it’s lightweight enough I can take it out when working from home and store it away when I’m not using it. Bang for your buck!

Excellent monitor
I bought this to replace a 19” Acer monitor with the old 4:3 ratio.

Good, with a weakness
This monitor has a bright, clear, sharp display. The weakness is the single control switch, which handles everything -- on/off, brightness, contrast, everything. Anytime you wish to turn the monitor on or off, you are offered the various other options. The worst part is that the switch feels weak and likely to fail eventually. For now, it's a great monitor, but ever...

Good monitor
clear, sharp images. The stand is not adjustable, so we may need to switch (!) to a lower table in order to avoid neck strain. our prior monitor sat directly on table, so was lower. This is why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 star rating

Good work monitor for the price.
The monitor works as well as my HP 24" monitor which was about $40 more. The only concern is that the power switch and the adjustments are accessed through the rather thin toggle switch located in the back of the screen. Moving the thin switch in each direction to make the needed setting adjustments may compromise its integrity after time and cause it to snap off.
