Efficient printing
Works perfectly, quick printing speed and it connected seamlessly with my Mac computer. I would highly recommend purchasing this is if you own a business or are in school.

Does not work
I got the refurbished version (on accident) and it does not work at all. they need to throw out this item. it crumples documents and envelopes and just all around is not a good product. No need to refurbish again- throw it out.

Does not scan a 2-sided doc.
Pay attention to the scanning capabilities. We didn't and this model does not scan a two-sided document using the document feeder. While it prints one-sided from a two-sided document, it doesn't scan. On-line information indicates there is a menu option to select two-sided to one scan. Problems
I used this to replace a Brother printer I'd had for 15 years. This one tripped my circuit breakers every time I tried to print something. Setup was difficult. I had to call the company to help set it up. Finally, right out of the box it was louder than the 15-year old Brother I was replacing. I'm going to give Brother another shot and choose a different printer.

Retired owner and still home copier
We be using Brother’s copies at business and homes for couple years and always had good luck with them and they last a while.

Decent but has issues with grabbing too much paper
This printer has solid reviews, but it likes to take more than one page in between printing sometimes, which ruins its double sided printing sometimes. This printer is new and used new paper too.

Great printer
Easy set-up and quiet. Sample cartridge doesnt print a lot. Have a back up. Cartridge are a bit on the high side.

Best ever - 2nd one I've owned

Power failure requires reconnection to the network
It's great except for just one thing. I wish the printer would be smart enough to remember it's wifi connection, and reconnect itself to the network on it's own after a power failure.

Great black and white printer for a musician!

Perfect for BW Printing
This printer is well made and dependable. I use it for every project not requiring color. It is responsive and has performed without error in the 3 months I’ve used it.

Very Pleased with purchase
Well ink jets just cost too much for ink refills. It was time to try something different. Brother Laser, well I'll try it and so far very pleased with the printing, double side, and time will tell if the cost will be different for refill time. We aren't heavy print people but for our home use it been great.

Six month review
This printer was super easy to setup. The black and white print quality meets or exceeds my needs for home use and school projects for children. I’m not really sure how quick it prints as most jobs are done and waiting on me from the time I hit print and walk to the printer. Perfect machine for your home office
