Good Product Overall - Needs 2 Design Tweaks
It works well, but some minor modifications could make it great. Like the back/home buttons are not lit up. This is installed in a server room. To see the buttons, I had to shine a flashlight on it if to use the panel. The biggest flaw is you have to remove the battery to run it in network mode as a back up system. That means I now have to plug it into another backup b...

Not worth it.
The only button on this thing doesn't seem to do anything. Sometimes you can't turn it off, sometimes you can't turn it on. Held the button down for almost 7 minutes and all it did was cycle between the netgear and 5g image. Battery charge level doesn't seem accurate, since itll just shut off at 70% and say it needs to be charged, even though it's plugged in. Leave it, ...

Works as advertised
I got fast 5G speeds using a T-Mobile SIM. The hotspot works fine. The fact that you can use it with the battery removed is a plus.

Happy Customer
Very happy with the Hotspot Router. Our old router struggled whenever 5G was available, but our new router handles it like a pro!

Not dependable and reliable
You can't depend on how long the battery last. More so, if I'm in the Sierras. So I can't rely on the product.

wont maintain connection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] repeatedly had to factory reset every time it was turned on and would not show available for devices to connect until a full reboot was completed Once connected it would drop every device repeatedly. Used with the additional antennas because it would not connect to T-Mobile otherwise. Will pursue warranty replacement.

Better Than Most
I needed a replacement jetpack for two others that had given up the ghost due to battery issues in the past few years. This unit operated on battery and direct plug-in power sources so I decided to give it a try. Upon receiving it I simply inserted my old sim card into this new unit. My carrier recognized it and a few clicks later I was in and ready to go. Changed out a...

All Around Great Hotspot
My only complaint was that the estimated data use was WAY higher than what my data plan was saying, which had me freaked out initially. Otherwise it works like a charm so far.

Ethernet port is nice, Just not unattended
Originally purchased to augment a terrible coverage area, it landed as the backup to my alarm panel. It crashes after being online too long thanks the hackers, web-interfaces goes offline and so does the DNS. Its just not network grade enough to endure longer operations, was fine as a mobile hotspot for short term uses. External antenna port is pretty boss. There rea...

Hi Valued Customer,
Thank you for your review and valuable feedback. As your M6’s temperature increases, its performance is reduced, while overheating the device will cause it to shut down entirely. Considering thermal management when you use your M6 can prevent it from overheating and ensure you have the best experience with your device. When using your M6 continuously for long periods of time, we recommend that you remove the battery/battery cover and plug your M6 in to enable Plugged In mode. For more information on this topic, please visit the following resource: https://kb.netgear.com/000065772/How-can-I-keep-my-Nighthawk-M6-from-overheating.

Perfect for RV life
We needed a device that could be left plugged in without battery inside it for use on the road in our RV. We travel full time and our old device needed the battery in even when plugged in. That led us to unplugging and plugging it back in several times a day, even still we ended up with battery bloat twice.
This option is great, plug it in and walk away. It power...

Easy setup and operation, reliable
Purchased for use while travelling. Used on multiple wireless carriers, strictly on pay as you go plans. Set up with the carrier(s) of choice and simply switching the sim cards out as needed. Some locations require the use of a cellular booster, but that is location specific, not endemic to the device. Wifi signal is adequate for use inside and within a hundred feet...

Best 5G SA Hotspot available in market today
I have tested several 5G hotspots however this device is the best. Others do claim that they support 5G but there is a catch, other products available in market does support only 5G NSA but this Netgear device supports both 5G NSA and 5G NSA.
Kudos to Netgear Team.
