Way better than playdough!!!
Our two and four year old both love this product. The cards give them some direction of what to do with the foam. I have had poor experiences with playdough and kinetic sand. This play foam is something I would recommend time and again. It's like getting to play with rice Krispy treats without the stickiness!

So Much Fun While Learning
This is such a fun product! My older daughter is 8, and she just ADORED playing "teacher" with some younger pre-school aged friends that we had over at our house. THEY loved playing with the playfoam (and creating all sorts of fun shapes). SHE loved feeling like she was helping them to learn something new. I loved that there was no mess to clean up afterwards. I am goin...

Lots of fun learning!
My son loves the Playfoam Shape & Learn Numbers Set by Educational Insights! The playfoam is great for sensory learning, while the cards help you learn your shapes and numbers. We loved using this mess-free set during travel!

Easy, no-mess sensory play!
The playfoam works great as a no-mess sensory activity! My son is only 18 months so we aren't actually using the foam to practice numbers or shapes yet, but I wanted to get him some sort of a sensory toy that wouldn't make a huge mess. He loved to rip it up and then mash it all back together into a big ball. The foam doesn't dry out (I've left it out for the last two we...

Fun product!!
My 6 year old daughter really had a lot of fun with the Play Foam Shape & Learn Numbers Set! This foam is pretty neat, and it claims that it never dries out! So far in the past week it hasn't.
Even though she knows her shapes and numbers, I plan to use it for her homeschool work to make math problems a little more fun for her. Also, My one year old son will have a bla...

Many ways to have fun
We have been using this in a few different ways. Our little girl has been working on numbers, shapes, colors, and enjoying sensory play all without realizing she is learning! The only con we have found is that the Playfoam seems to attract dog fur and will leave foam balls around on the carpet. Simple solution though is to keep play to the tile floor or kitchen table.

New favorite toy at our house!
My daughters (6 & 4) LOVE this playfoam and will play with it happily for up to an hour at a time. They usually start by making the shapes and numbers on the provided cards but quickly start building other things based on those shapes. (The zero became a crown today!) Inexpensive, educational, and entertaining...obviously I'm a huge fan. The only thing I don't like is h...

No Mess Fun
I loved that the playfoam is hands on, educational, and mess free. I keep thinking of getting of playdo but then don't because of the mess, this is a GREAT alternative. My 3 year old was all about the spaces and numbers. I do agree with another review about a storage container, that would be great!

So fun and mess free!
My 2 year old loves the number and shapes foam set. I like that the cards are hard and durable. I also like that the foam is mess free! I wish it had some sort of storage for the foam though. Still a great, educational, activity!

Very Educational and Equally Fun
My son just started summer break after his first year of preschool and this is the perfect way to keep him fresh on his numbers. He does not enjoy just sitting and doing worksheets. He is fascinated by the texture of the playfoam and is eager to make every number. It is also a good review of colors since there are 8 different ones included. He struggles a bit with fine ...

Great tactile learning
My so. Enjoyed playing with this toy, but at 20 months we had to be constantly on top of him so he wouldn't eat the squishy foam!
