Shortened eraser SCAM
Yes the long eraser refill has been replaced by one that is approximately HALF the previous length. This will cause you to go through these much faster. Totally shady in my opinion...I’ve been using these mechanical pencils for 30+ years, what a disappointment.

Pentel pencil erasers
I love my Pentel Energize, pencil,. My issue was that the tiny, cute little erasers or not sold in many stores, other than office supply stores. And not all of them carry this product. Amazingly, even those who do carry this pencil do not stock the erasers for them!! I was delighted to go to Staples and find a delightful sales person who knew exactly where to go to fin...

1 star but for no fault of the product itself
Wrong eraser for pencil sold in Staples store. I needed the Pentel Refill erasers PDE-1 for my favorite Pentel Quicker Clicker mechanical pencils. Apparently Staples stores don't carry the refill erasers.

Disappointed in these new eraser refills. The old versions were longer. Staples need to update their photo to reflect the actual reduced size.

Not quite what I expected. I thought I was ordering what I'm currently using, which is an eraser about 4-1/2" long for the Pentel Clic Eraser. These are about 2" long! They work well enough, but I'll continue to look for the longer eraser.
