It's a Simple Thing
It's a simple thing, a manual pencil sharpener, but there was thought and care taken in its design an execution by the Staedtler people. And as a result, it works better than you might imagine. And that it has two types - two angles - of sharpening, one for graphite and one for colored pencils, Again, thoughtful design.

Pretty disappointed in this sharpener. Not very satisfied with the point once sharpened but the biggest disappointment is how yo open the whole thing to dump the trash out once you sharpen a pencil. I see a place where the arrow directs to move to open, but it doesn’t budge. Trash right now.

Beats the traditional tiny sharpener
I find that traditional sharpener disappear very quickly. This sharpener is about 2 inches high and the same in width. To finish the sharpening I find it works putting in the “graphic/graphic”—it works better

I love it, its very simple but I like that it has a cup and a fold-down top cap to gather up the shavings and keep them from spilling in your bag. Takes 2 sizes of pencils.

Surprising Find
This sharpener was a little pricier than most manual pencil sharpeners out there, but it quickly and easily sharpened pencils to a perfect point, unlike the cheapie ones. Worth the extra money.

Works great with Diamond Art pencils!
Other pencil sharpeners would jam up when I tried to sharpener my Diamond Art pencils… the pencils with the “sticky insert” instead of lead. My son decided to purchase this one and I was not hopeful. I was very wrong! Several such pencils later and it’s still working like new!
