It works
It works as expected. Just wish it wasn't so hard to find tapes for the first generation P-Touch Labeler.

Label Maker Tape
This tape must have been faulty. We've ordered and used this tape for a number of years. The tape we received this time was falling apart and non-functional. I finally had to throw it out and will reorder today. Very disappointed.

Brother 1pk 3/8" Black on White tape
Although this cartridge fits an older label maker, the quality and effectiveness of the machine is still at a satisfactory level and therefore we will continue to need the cartridges. They print well and although it's tough sometimes to separate the label from the backing, that is true of almost all label tapes. My fear is that because this works in an older label maker...
