Good choice
It’s a good unit. I’ve been happy with APC for many years while working and now that I’m retired am continuing to use them.

Solid unit but can't access via Ethernet port
I have 3 of these units in my remote observatory
and being able to view information on them remotely is extremely important. I wish it were possible to access them directly via the Ethernet port. They are too far away from my equipment for a USB connection, and one unit only has networking gear on it.

Great 1500VA Tower UPS
These little 1500VA Tower UPS Units are a very common site at SMB companies for a reason. They are solid and reliable and seem to last forever. Can't go wrong with these especially the newer models with SmartConnect remote monitor software. Highly recommended!

Replacement APC
The battery needed replacing. I found a trade option where I got an updated UPS with a new battery at a great price. I have used the old APC UPS for over 10 years and it has worked flawlessly. The new UPS installed easily and was up and running the same day as I received it. Great peace of mind. When the electricity fails, any computer not on the UPS gets hammered. Grea...
